We talked about leafs, trees, pumpkins and spiders. And also touched on scarecrows, jack-o-lanterns, corn, wagon, and some farm animals (when we visited the farm), and sort of reluctantly touched on monsters, ghosts, and "spooky" things. Our 2-yr-old neighbor (AB's friend) is very much into those sorts of spooky halloween things, and tells her all about it - including the day he was visiting and told her their was a scary ghost in her room, when the light was off! haha! Noooo! I quickly turned on the light and informed them both there was no ghost, and changed the subject to some blocks in her room, but sheesh.... he isn't actually scared of the "spooky" things, but she tends to get frightened and although I try to make light of it without ignoring them (because lets face it, those scary things can't be ignored this time of year!), and tell her monsters and ghosts aren't real, and playfully say they're silly and not scary.....she is still frightened some when another friend says, "ooooh spooky!" or "dark! scary!".

By the way, we also went trick-or-treating on Halloween with one of Annabelle's little buddy's. Sean had to fly nights, so he wasn't home to go with us. It was really fun, and the girls walked our whole, hilly, half mile loop, knocked on doors and nicely said, "trick or treat" and "thank you" :) I'll have to share another post about that, but for now.....here's my beautiful little Snow White, on her first "real" Halloween...
