Christmas Festivities

Sean's last class (and flight) was on December 19th, and then we had the whole week before Christmas to hang out, lay low, and adjust to being a family of 4. We went to see Santa (Annabelle did much better this year haha), made reindeer food with friends, left Santa cookies, read the night before Christmas, and spent all of Christmas day unwrapping gifts and playing (and napping, etc). We shared Christmas dinner with our neighbors, who had their baby 5 days after Emmalyn. All four of us adults were sleep deprived, it was sort of funny. Annabelle enjoyed playing with her buddy Michael, and their grandma cooked a delicious meal for us. Our Uncle Patrick and  Aunt Stacy, Conner, Chris and Lindsey also stopped by the day after Christmas.
Poor Sean got sick, so Christmas morning he was stuffy and exhausted. Fun fact: he didn't get sick for all of flight school (minus the stomach issue he had that only kept him from one day of flying back in April). The week after he finished, it was like his body finally just had had enough and gave up fighting. It was good/bad timing. Thankfully, we weren't traveling.

Gramma M made the girls these cute santa hats, so we made her some pictures with them!

Going to see Santa at the Mall:
Annabelle also got to ride on the little train they had, and we spent some time shopping at Target too! It was a very busy day for this 2 year old and newborn (and daddy and mommy ;)).
