2 months

So much has changed in the last month! Annabelle is growing every single day, in every way! From her long hair to her chunky legs, to her bubbly personality. She is an absolute JOY to have in our lives.

2 months old

Weight: 12.14lbs

Length: 23inches

(something like) 50th percentile for length and 90th for weight

Wearing size 3mo clothing and size 2 diapers. She skipped over the 0-3mo clothes and size 1 diapers pretty quickly. In fact, there are several items of clothing that she didn't even get to wear...oh well. And we had just ordered a huge box of size 1 diapers, which we only got through half of before they stopped fitting. oh well. At least we can send them to her cousin on the way! :)

Still nursing every 2-3hrs during the day, and about 3-4 at night. Every couple of nights she will sleep for 4-5 hours once. Progress. She is also having a lot more awake time during the day, so I know that will start helping us out at night a little more.

Really filled out this month with lots of adorable chunks and rolls :)

Following very well. Whether it's a toy, or a person entering a room, it catches her eye and she follows it until it's close enough or too far away for her to direct her gaze elsewhere, or unless another object or person enters her line of sight.

Turns to sounds quickly, especially our voices.

Smiles back at people constantly! I love this :)

Talks and babbles. She is constantly telling us all about her little world, saying things like, "ah-goo", "mmmm-um", "yaa yaa",  "ckooooo", etc etc....the more you repeat back to her what she has said, the more she talks. It's so fun.

She has officially found her hands. She rubs her eyes and face, twirls them in her hair, and enjoys them as a snack. Sometimes, they cross in front of her face, and she goes cross eyed trying to focus on them. She is also (sort of) starting to reach for things.

Holds head up on tummy! This actually just happened for the first time with Gramps! Tummy time is not all fun. She makes a lot of "this is really difficult" sounds, but doesn't fuss too much until she's just had enough. But now that she's figured out she can raise her head up and look around, maybe it will get better.

She likes to look at herself in the mirror. Well, she likes to look at the mirror. Not sure if she's noticed herself yet. But it's another fun activity for us to enjoy :)
