9 Month Update

You’re crawling around everywhere now! Pulling yourself up on everything, and you’ve learned how to get back down from standing, to go crawl around more. This is a big deal for you, since before, you would proudly pull yourself up to standing, and then get quickly frustrated when you couldn’t get back down to go anywhere. You are so very curious about everything. You see a little string on the floor and go crawling as fast as you can to pick it up and look at it (and taste it ;) ). You are starting to get into things that you shouldn’t, so we’ve started telling you “no”, and you’re catching on pretty quick!  Since you have been so active this month, you are sleeping SO much better! You are now consistently sleeping through the night for 10-12 hours!

You are certainly a very sweet girl, Annabelle. You wrap your arms around us when we are putting you to bed, you smile at everyone you see, and you clap and bounce when mommy or daddy walks into the room. You absolutely LOVE life, and learning and exploring. You are also very determined and stubborn. You have started flailing and fussing when you do not get your way. Although you will not sit still long enough to hear one, you love your books! You also love music and singing. You often try to sing along, and it SO very sweet. Likewise, you try to mimic sounds like the dog whining, or mommy and daddy talking. You are a very vocal baby! You can say “da-da”, doggie “da-di”, “ma-ma” and you babble a lot of other “words” as well. We love to hear you talk. We often mimic everything you say because it’s so exciting for us J
