Pot hole and game night.

Last night, on our way up to the O'Neals for couples game night, SO many things went wrong. First, Sean passed their exit. So, we got off at the next exit. Then, we turned right instead of left. Instead of turning around at the first gas station, we drive all the way down this crappy road and then turn around in some thuggish neighborhood. We're heading back towards the interstate and decide to take the "back roads" (which we are only assuming will take us right to their house). But as we're about to pass the on ramp, Sean can't decide if he should turn onto the interstate, or keep going the backroads, so he kind of swerves left and then right. We hear this really loud bump, and then our car starts thumping along like we got a flat tire. We pull over on the side of the road, and the tire is not flat. So, we drive into this empty business center parking lot (bad part of town, in the dark...not feeling safe). Sean and Camron get out and figure out that the rim is bent and the tire is now getting flat. So, we call roadside assistance, but then they decide to just go ahead and put the spare on to see if that will work. We don't have the right kind of wrench. So, we call Chris and Alex (a friend of the O'Neals who just happens to be a mechanic) to come help us. We're waiting and freezing, when all of the sudden Sean finds this little piece of tool on the ground (whatever part of the wrench that he needed!). They change the tire, and we get back on the road. We stopped and took a picture of the pot hole in hopes that we can send the pictures and the repair costs in to the City, and they will pay for it. That pot hole was about 2 feet deep and 3 feet wide!!!

Game night was a blast though! We played Mafia, Catch Phrase and charades. We're planning to do it again real soon because everyone enjoyed it so much! Yay for great friends turning what could have been a horrible night into so much fun!!
